- Created a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at SSRN Hospital in Pamplemousses in 2001. The advent of this NICU made a great impact on the reduction of our national Neonatal and Infant Mortality Rate.
- Was “Maitre de Stage” for Neonatology for the first-ever training of Paediatricians in Mauritius, carried out by the University of Bordeaux II, France, in collaboration with the Mauritius Institute of Health (2003-2006).
