Chiropractors are primary care physicians with a strong focus on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal (MSK) disease and dysfunction.
Our chiropractic physicians use specific physical examination techniques in order to help pinpoint patients’ specific problems and may also utilise imaging and laboratory procedures when indicated.
They may then use a variety of treatments depending on the patient’s condition. The main goal of a chiropractic doctor is to first use conservative means of treatment (non-surgical) in order to reduce pain and increase function.
Treatments include: Cox Flexion Distraction Technic, Shockwave Therapy, Joint Manipulation and Intramuscular Electro-stimulation.
In addition, MSK sonography procedures are offered in order to assist with both the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as: tendinopathies, muscular tears, ligamentous sprains and peripheral nerve entrapment.
Furthermore, our chiropractors may also design specific rehabilitation procedures, which help guide the patient back to safer, more functional movement patterns. This service is provided at the rehabilitation centre.
