Carotid artery disease

If you had a recent stroke or ’mini-stroke’, it is crucial to ensure that your carotid artery (which runs in your neck) is not responsible for the stroke.  Assessment and treatment of carotid artery disease should be done quickly to help prevent new/recurrent strokes which can be life-threatening or extremely disabling to you.  We offer both open carotid surgery and carotid artery stenting to ensure you do not have to suffer from a repeat stroke.

Other conditions we treat include: Any vascular trauma, Type B aortic dissection, upper limb peripheral vascular disease, mesenteric vessel diseases, reno-vascular diseases, acute DVT, post-thrombotic limb, lymphoedema, vascular access (arterio-venous fistulae – AVF) and salvage procedures for AVF.
